HasLab’s Next Project: Massive Transformers War for Cybertron Unicron Weighing Almost 20 Lbs

Hot on the heels of Haslab announcing their second project, Life-Size Cookie Monster, they announce a third.

The third official project will be the massive 19 lb Transformers War for Cybertron Unicron. This transformer, if funded, will dethrone Fortress Maximus as the largest converting Transformers figure ever built.

Haslab is Hasbro’s crowd-funding platform designed to bring collectors’ dream products to life. The idea is that Hasbro can make products that are too expensive to bring to a normal retail market provided enough backers agree to pay the quoted price. The quota for Unicron is a minimum of 8,000 backers at $574.99 a pop, by August 31, 2019.

Via Haslab:

The gigantic Unicron would be our largest converting Transformers figure ever created, taking the title from our previous record-holder, Fortress Maximus.

In his immense robot mode, this version of Unicron will be over 27-inches (685.8 mm) tall and has more than 50 points of articulation.

He converts into a terrifying planet mode that will be a stunning 30-inches (762.0 mm) in diameter. The planet mode features the iconic planet-eating jaws, geared to open so Unicron can devour unassuming worlds. The planet mode also features a series of posable planetary rings.
